Itai Steinberg UX Research & Design

Some Pictures I have taken

Several years ago, I traveled through Southeast Asia. During my time in Vietnam, I spent three days in Sapa province and took a trek from the backpacker town down into the villages in the valley below. Along the way, I came across children playing together and captured this moment. This photograph remains one of my favorites.

I captured this photo during my visit to Oslo, Norway several years ago. The sculpture is located in the renowned Vigeland Park, one of the city's most famous attractions. What drew me to this particular piece was its intimate portrayal of two figures embracing, and I composed the shot to emphasize their tender, affectionate pose.

I'm a UX enthusiast with a B.A. in Psychology and Human-Computer Interaction, passionate about blending psychological insights with research to design intuitive, engaging experiences. I love uncovering what drives user behavior and using that understanding to create designs that feel effortless and human-centered.

Outside of UX, I'm a dedicated cinephile who enjoys analyzing films almost as much as watching them. One of my favorite design analogies comes from Inception of Christopher Nolan:

"We create the world of the dream. We bring the subject into that dream, and we fill it with their subconscious."
(Dom Cobb)

To me, great UX is just like that—building a world shaped by the user’s needs, then guiding them through it seamlessly.

In my free time, I enjoy the mental challenge and social energy of board games, the calming rhythm of early-morning water sports, and capturing candid human moments through photography during my travels. The lens helps me see the world—and people—in a more intentional, creative way.
